Epona sighed as she looked at the paper work before her. She then looked at the patient. “Silver.”

Silver looked at her. “Yes doctor?”

“You weren’t pregnant…”

Silver blinked. “Really?”

The doctor nodded. “But. If you want to become pregnant I suggest you start taking more vitamins. To supplement your diet.” She picked up a paper. “Your body chemistry is messed up a little bit. Get more rest take a break from work. If you and Paradox really want another foal. Go on a vacation. Relax.”

She blushed. “I really thought I was…”

Epona looked at her. “If it’s in your future, it’ll happen.”

Silver sighed deeply. “Maybe it is for the best… You said my body isn’t ready.”

Silver panted as she pushed down. “Ahhh! They never told me it would hurt so much!”

“You are doing great Silver. Just breathe and push when I tell you. Remember you have two foals to push out.” Epona stated.

“Wait… What?” Paradox said as he looked at his wife and the doctor. “No pony told me this.”

Silver nodded. “Found out… before you came back in here. The doctor was checking the vitals and discovered two heart beats. We’re having twins.” She panted out.

Paradox blinked in shock. “T… t-twins?”

Epona nodded as she put her mask on and the nurse helped her get cleaned up. “Yes, twins.”

He nodded suddenly. “Alright. Awesome.” He started to shake suddenly as he gulped.

Silver’s ears went back as she let out a yell. “Ah! Doxy!” She whimpered as he went to her, placing his paw on her hoof.

“I’m here for you. Yell at me, curse me and be mean to me, but know this. I’ll always love you.” He told her as he kissed her.

Epona went over and placed her hoof on Silver’s stomach. “Alright Silver; when I tell you to push do so as hard as you can. Paradox you encourage her and make sure she breathes.” She didn’t wait for them to reply as she looked at the situation.

Paradox looked at his wife as she looked at him. She had tears in her eyes and she already looked exhausted and all he could think about is how absolutely gorgeous she was. “We can do this.” He said to her.

She looked at him, his eyes looked sunken in and tired and he smiled at her with encouragement. She loved him so much and he was beautiful to her. “Yes.” She grit her teeth as pain hit her. “We can do this.”

“Silver I want you to push.” Epona said.

Silver pushed with all her strength. “Uhggggh.”

“Good. Rest.” The doctor said. “You’re progressing well, looks like you have stubborn foals.”

Paradox rubbed Silver’s back around her shoulders. “I wish I could help you more.”

“You help me by just being here.” She whispered.

Epona suddenly looked up. “Alright, I need you to push again Silver, but try not to push too hard. I have to check something.”

Silver gulped and pushed down “Ah… ohh.”

Epona smiled as she looked up. “Yes that’s great. Now breathe and push again.”

Paradox rubbed her shoulders as he talked to her. “Breathe deep. You can do this.”

Silver looked at him and started to cry. “No… I can’t. Doxy, I’m tired so tired.”

“So am I, after this we’ll go home and snuggle in bed.” He whispered to her. “I love you. Just push and breathe deeply.”

Silver breathed and pushed she was getting tired but she did what the doctor told her. “Ah! This pain!” She felt pressure release suddenly.

“Oh, here is the first foal.” Epona smiled under her mask. She worked on cleaning its airway. “A beautiful girl.” The baby started to cry and Paradox tried to get a good look. Epona held the foal up. “Cut the cord Dox?” She asked.

He gulped as he took the scissors that the nurse offered him. “Uh… yes.” He shook as he cut the cord. “A girl.” He muttered softly.

“Silver, you have a brave, strong husband. His father would have already been on the floor.”

He felt the pounding in his ears but he knew his wife wasn’t done. He fought off the urge to black out even though he saw spots in front of his eyes. “Don’t count on it for long.” He muttered.

The foal cried loudly as the nurse took her to the warming table. “Good set of lungs.” She announced.

Epona went back to position. “Almost there… Just push and breathe like before.”

Silver nodded as she took in a deep breath then pushed. “Ah… maybe there is a better way.”

“There is, but it’s messier and a lot more painful.” Epona answered. “Come on push more.”

Paradox rubbed her shoulders. “You were able to get one, now the other. Maybe a boy?”

“Doxy…” Silver panted.

“Yes, my love?” He asked as he kissed her cheek.

“Shut it.” She growled as she pushed.

“Yes, gorgeous.” He whispered.

“Oh, another girl! Identical twins. Congratulations.” Epona held the other foal up. “Daddy you’re needed for the cutting of the umbilical cord.”

Dox swallowed as he cut the cord. “Identical t-twins… I… I-identical.” The room spun and he fell.

“Father down.” Epona yelled. “Silver. I applaud your husband’s endurance. Discord fainted faster. Nurses, get him into a bed.”

The nurse took the crying foal to the warming table to clean her up. “She’s healthy as well.” She picked both of them up, they were bundled up and brought them to Silver. “Here you go, Mommy.” She went over and helped the other nurses drag Paradox into a bed.

Silver held them and started to cry. “Oh! They’re beautiful.” She nuzzled them both. “My sweet twins. You two need names. We’ll wait for daddy to wake up.”newmommy

Epona got up and smiled. “All done. Now, you look great. The foals are healthy. I need you to abstain from sex for about a month until you’re healed properly. I’ll see you in a week to see how you are.” She smiled as she left. The nurses left as well after dragging Paradox on to a bed.

Silver held the foals and looked at them. They both had a little gold mane on their foreheads. Their coats were a very faint blue. One had freckles while the other didn’t. “That’s how we’ll tell you two apart.” The foal with freckles opened her eyes, they were deep blue like Paradox’s.

“Oh my head.” Paradox mumbled as he sat up. “What happened?”

She looked over to him. “Does Daddy Doxy want to see his daughters?” She asked.

He jumped up quickly and used his wings for balance as he stumbled to her bed. He then stopped briefly. “Wait, do they look alright?”

She smiled. “Here. Look for yourself.”

He took one of them and looked; he let out a deep breath. “She’s beautiful… she’s so beautiful.” He swallowed hard. “Oh no.”oneangel

Silver blinked. “What’s wrong?”

He smiled. “This one is a little thief.” He brought the foal back and picked up the other one to look at her. “Oh… This one is also a thief!” He stumbled a little. “Stole my heart right away. Little thieves.”

Silver started to giggle. “Are you happy?”

“Silver, I am overwhelmed. They are gorgeous just like you.” He kissed her as he gave her the other foal.

“What should we name them?” She asked as she nuzzled the foals and then kissed him on the cheek.

“I want to name one Selene.” He said softly.

“And the other one?”

He looked at her. “Silver why won’t you name the other?”

“You’re more creative. Please name them both.”

“Alright Silver, but I really think you should name her.” He thought for a moment. “Solana.”

“Selene and Solana. Those are beautiful names. Oh Doxy… We are parents!” She giggled as she started to cry again. He kissed her again and nuzzled her.

He was laughing, why was he laughing? It wasn’t that funny. Why won’t he stop?laughingparadox

Silver looked at him. “Are you feeling alright?”

Paradox kept laughing as tears fell from his eyes. “No.” He managed to say and caught his breath as he looked at the doctor. “What did you say?”

“It’s a high possibly that Silver is going to have twins.” Epona repeated.

He was about to burst out laughing again. “Why would we have twins?” He asked as the urge to snicker rose.

“Your father was a twin, you’re a twin. High probability.” Epona answered. She looked at Paradox and blinked. “Are you alright?”

He stared at her. “Yeah. Peachy. Why?” He snickered and tried to compose himself.

“You have a crazed look on your face. When did your fangs grow in?” She asked.

“I’m not crazed am I? And I had fangs for a while they just recently grew in larger.”

Epona looked doubtfully at him. “Come here.”

He nodded as he snickered moving closer to Epona. “Yes?”

She looked into his eyes and then made him open his mouth. She looked at his paws, horns and fangs. “Unusual fur growth, claws won’t retract… hmm. Growth potion?” She asked casually.

Silver and Paradox looked at her in shock. “Yes.” they said together.

“You youngsters always in a hurry.” She muttered.

“Wait, no it was an accidental ingestion.” Paradox grinned he was still feeling giddy with laughter.

“Oh, you should have come to me sooner. Sounds like magical poisoning.” She disappeared and instantly reappeared holding with her magic, a bottle. “This should stop anything new that shall come up. It will also help with your claws and fangs.”

He looked at the bottle, it had some purple capsules in it. “I don’t trust it.”

“I didn’t ask if you trusted the medicine. Take one a day for five days and you’ll notice the difference. If you want to stop the changes to your body, I suggest you take it.” She looked at him.

“Can I take one now?” He asked and started to chuckle.

“Please do.” The Epona muttered.

Paradox took a capsule out of the bottle and looked at it. “It’s the size of a horse pill.”

Silver giggled. “You’re part horse.”

He nodded. “Yeah, I am… whoa awesome. Talking horses.” He took the capsule.

“As I was saying…” Epona turned to look at Silver. “You might have twins, but probably not. But I’d never rule that out. Look who the father is. It runs in his family. Yet they’re fraternal twins so…”

Silver nodded. “So the possibility is smaller of having twins.”

Epona nodded. “Let me check you.”

Paradox was sitting in a chair looking at his paws. Just staring at them and not paying attention to the Doctor or his mate. When he heard a heartbeat he sat up and looked over. “What is that?”

“That is your wife’s heart.” Epona replied and waited until he walked over before she moved the Doppler wand down. The sound changed to rapid fluttering noises. “That sound is the foal’s heart beat.”

Paradox’s mouth suddenly hung open. He looked at Silver and saw her smile at him. He placed his paws on his head. “I heard this before, but it’s totally different when it’s your own.” He smiled as he went over to Silver. “That’s our baby. Our foal. Silver, you’re awesome.” He kissed her.

Silver was blushing. “Oh… you helped.”

“With the fun part!” He laughed. Silver giggled along with him as she blushed.

Epona sighed and rolled her eyes. “Paradox, be sure to take those pills daily until they are gone. Plus help your wife as much as possible.”

He looked at her. “Help her do what?”

“Things around the house. Take care of her.”

“I do that already.” He smiled and kissed Silver’s cheek. “Don’t I?”

“Looking sexy isn’t helping. She means doing chores.” Silver replied as she pushed him with her hoof.

Twilight looked at every pony in the room. “Um… I’ll tell them later.” Her cheeks were burning red.

Discord blinked at her. “Why not tell them now? Aww… did you walk in on them doing something naughty?” He went over to the door.

“Discord, don’t bother your son.” Fluttershy whispered as she held their new foal.

“Yeah dad. He had a lot of emotional backlash from my labor he probably needs the release.” LillyRose said sleepily.

“Alright, I am not sure what you mean…” He strode over to Fluttershy, she handed him their newest addition he looked at the foal and smiled. “Right little Snafu?”

Epona looked at Discord. “Seriously? You named him Snafu?”

“Yes…” He grinned. “What a better name for my foal then a confused and chaotic state of being?”

Epona shook her head. “I would like to go home now.” She went to the door.

Twilight gasped. “I… don’t think that is a good idea.”

“I have to get my foal, they aren’t doing anything I haven’t seen before. If it wasn’t obvious, I have had my fair share of mates.” She looked around the room. Discord was acting like he didn’t know what she was talking about and was whistling as he looked away. Fluttershy looked at Discord and gave small frown. Twilight was blushing and Luna was trying hard not to laugh. Lilly had fallen asleep as Zero was totally oblivious to the conversation as he held their foal. Epona opened the door to go get her foal from Silver and Paradox.

Paradox and Silver were leaning against one another and looked at Epona as she walked in. Silver was holding her foal gently. “Hi Dr. Epona.” Silver said.

“Hello Silver. Thank you for watching Cobalt Lust.” She said as she took the foal from Silver.

“His name is Cobalt Lust? What sort of name is that?” Paradox asked.

Epona laughed. “Oh this foal is special.” She nuzzled her baby. “He has an incredible talent.”

Silver blinked. “And that is?”

“You’ve already experienced it.” Epona said. “Thanks again for watching him.” She nodded as her horn glowed and she disappeared.

Paradox blinked. “We already experienced it?”

Silver laughed. “Think about it Doxy… Were you that horny before you touched his wings and feathers?”

Paradox blinked. “Uh, no.” He then blushed. “Whoa. That foal can be dangerous!”

Both Paradox and Silver sat outside the room as they watched Epona’s foal. Paradox was happy to be away from the noise and confusion of both his mother and sister being in labor. Twilight and Princess Luna had went in to assist with the births.

“Oh Doxy! Look at him, he’s so adorable. He’s a beautiful dark cobalt color. Look at his white muzzle too.” Silver Dash cooed as she looked at Epona’s foal. “He looks like he’s part deer look at his hooves.”

Paradox looked at the foal that Silver was holding. “Silver, I really don’t…” He smiled suddenly. “He has cute little wings! They look iridescent… Awesome.”

Silver nodded as she looked up at him. “I know. He’s adorable. You think we’ll ever have a little one?”

Paradox looked at the foal and didn’t look at Silver at the question. “I don’t know… Maybe… one day.”

Silver blinked at his answer. He didn’t sound like he wanted a foal too soon. She looked at the wings on the foal and gave a deep sigh. “Maybe?” She said softly.

He nodded. “Yeah. I think we should get married first.” He said as he pet the feathers on the foal’s wing. “I wish my feathers gave that sort of shine. Mine are plain old blue.”

“I love your blue wings.” Silver said to him.

He looked up into her silver and magenta eyes. “Thank you.” He said softly. “I love everything about you.” He reached up and placed his paw on her chin. “You have the most beautiful eyes.” He slowly leaned over towards her to give her a kiss.

The door to the room opened, making both Silver and Paradox jump.

Twilight came out of the room she was smiling. “Paradox, you are now an uncle to a beautiful girl named Rune Eclipse. She’s dark taupe with bat wings, she looks like a full pony too. Princess Luna named her.”

Paradox and Silver looked up at her. “Thanks…” Paradox mumbled.

Silver smiled at Twilight. “What about Fluttershy? Has she had her foal yet?” She rocked Epona’s foal as she talked to Twilight.

Twilight shook her head, “Not yet, but I wanted to tell you about Lilly and Zero’s foal. Lilly is now resting.”

“We’re not supposed to sleep.” Paradox said.

“It’s alright.” Twilight said. “I thought your father took care of that?”

Paradox shrugged, “I don’t know. So many things have gone on in the past few hours. I don’t know what to think any more. Thanks for telling us about the foal.”

“You’re welcome.” Twilight looked at Paradox for a moment then walked back into the room.

Silver looked at him. “Doxy? Are you alright?”

“No… Silver… I need you.” He said suddenly.

Silver’s ears went forward. “What? Now? I’m holding a foal.”

Paradox sighed, “Yes, well of course…” He looked at Silver. “I can be discrete, all the emotions that are hitting me all at once when Lilly was transferring her pain to me. I feel extremely needy… I have a lot of pent up desires right now.” He clenched his paws as he moved closer to her. “I need you so bad.” He looked at his mate. “I’m going to go stir crazy. You smell so good…” He leaned forward and nuzzled her mane and took in a deep breath. “Silver…” He sighed.

Silver sighed softly as he nuzzled her neck. “Doxy…” She looked at the foal in her arms and he was sleeping. Paradox kept nuzzling her neck and kissed her softly along her mane. His kisses were making her heat up with desire.

“I need you now.” He whispered as he started to nibble the back off her neck.

“But…” She said softly as she looked at Epona’s foal. She looked around the room and saw a large soft looking pillow nearby. “Doxy, let me get that pillow, please.”

He looked over. “No, here.” A bassinet appeared nearby. “Put him in there.”

She placed the foal in the bassinet, he flapped his wings a little bit and snuggled into the blankets. Silver smiled. “Aww.”

Paradox grabbed her and pulled her to him. “Silver, remember that I need you.” He growled as he began to nibble on her neck again.need

“Ah… I didn’t forget.” She whispered back. “What if some pony walks in?”

“No pony will walk in.” He mumbled as he kissed down her neck. “Silver please…” He put his paw between her legs.

She gasped as he boldly started to rub her sex with his fingers. She felt her legs weaken as he pushed his fingers into her and started to rub and caress. “Oh… Doxy…” She panted.

“Yes…” He said as he moved his paw away as he moved over her.

Discord appeared outside Epona Calliope’s house. He looked around then walked to the door and knocked.

Epona opened the door and looked up at Discord in surprise. She was holding a bundle in her arms. “Lord Discord? What brings you here?”epona

“My daughter LillyRose is in labor. I’d hate to bother you but, you are the only one that I know that can help us.”

“But Discord, I have my own foal to take care of, couldn’t you ask the other local pony doctor?” She suggested.

“I can foal sit for you. If you would just help my daughter. Please.” He said softly “I’ll take you right to her.”

“I don’t think you’d make a good foal sitter…” She said and suddenly squeaked when he picked her up.

“I’m a father of Paradox, LillyRose and Scarlet Grace. I think I can take care of a foal for a couple hours.” He teleported them all.

“I can’t do this!” Lilly yelled out. Sweat was rolling down her face and she looked at Zero. “Zero…. I can’t believe you… did this to me.”

“I… Lilly… that’s not fair.” Zero stuttered and looked at his wife in shock.

“Never fear. Discord is here!” Discord entered the room carrying Epona at arm’s length. “I brought the doctor.” He had a baby sling across his chest where Epona’s foal was.

Epona had a frown on her face, had her arms crossed as she looked at Lilly, Zero and Fluttershy. “Yeah, I’m here against my will. Let’s all celebrate.”

“Discord…?” Fluttershy said sternly at him.

“I just brought our favorite goddess of horses and birth to my daughter. You should be happy my love.” Discord said as he placed Epona down softly.

“Don’t worry Fluttershy, I’ll help LillyRose.” She then looked at Fluttershy and gulped. “I suggest you sit down soon Fluttershy.”

Fluttershy looked at Epona curiously. “Um… okay? I am glad you are here to take care of Lilly, where is your child?”

“Your husband is holding my foal, but I suggest a new foal sitter in about twenty seconds.” She said as she trotted over to Lilly. “LillyRose?”

Lilly looked at her doctor as she panted. “Yes?”

“You’re breathing well; where is your brother? I think he and his fiancé needs to watch my foal soon, because your mother… is going to go into labor in a few seconds.” She said quietly without Discord hearing her.

Zero and Lilly’s ears went forward and they both asked. “What!”

“Don’t worry.” Epona stated as she looked over Lilly. She magically summoned a stethoscope and she put them in her ears and listened to her. A couple other things magically appeared that would aid in the birth of a foal. “Everything will be alright.”

Paradox came running into the room with blankets and towels. “I brought all I could.” He said panting. He watched as they magically floated out of his paws. One was magically draped over Lilly’s stomach and back legs.

“Thank you Paradox. Now get my foal from your father please.” Epona stated quietly.

“What? Why does he need to hold him?” Discord asked suddenly as he took the foal from the sling and started to place the sling around Paradox’s chest.

“AH!” Fluttershy gasped out suddenly and clutched her stomach.

Discord’s eyes widened. “Fluttershy?” He quickly handed Epona’s foal to Paradox.

“AH!!!” LillyRose gasped aloud too.

“Looks like this is going to be a busy room.” Epona said calmly. “Discord, tend to your wife. She’s in labor as well.”

Silver Dash showed up with a bucket of water. She put it down and saw that Fluttershy as well as her friend LillyRose was in labor. She looked over at Paradox who was holding a foal in his paws and looking completely lost. “What did I just walk in on?”

Flight Strike swallowed hard as he looked at the door in front of him. He knew that his father-in-law and the rest of the family were in the waiting room. He looked behind him and then forward again. They deserved to know.

He placed his hoof on the door let out a deep sigh and pushed it open.

Every pony looked up expectantly at him.

“Hey, um…” He began but was suddenly interrupted when Discord put his paw on his muzzle. He noticed the whole room was frozen in time.

“Don’t.” Discord said to him. “Tell me first.”

“The foal… is fine, but… Grace is very sick.” Flight swallowed. “I’m scared… Dad.”

“Let me see her.”

Flight Strike led Discord through and noticed the whole Maternity ward was frozen but when they entered the room where Epona was with Grace and the foal. Time was going like normal. Epona looked up from tending to Grace. “Discord… your daughter…”

He went over to Scarlet Grace. “Gracie… What is wrong…? Tell me.”

“Dad… I’m… so tired. Help me.” She was sweating and her eyes were blind.

“Okay, I’ll help you. Epona?”

“Do what you can.” Epona said.

“Here’s trying.” Discord placed his paw on his daughter’s forehead and closed his eyes.

“AH!” Scarlet Grace screamed loudly. The foal in the bassinet started to cry loudly and Flight Strike went to stand near his wife and put his hoof on her paw and endured the sound of her screams.

Discord let out a gasp and shook his head as his paw slipped from Scarlet Grace’s head. “She’s bleeding too much. To the left Epona.”

Epona used her healing magic. “It’s difficult to reach. I’ll try.”

“I… I…” Scarlet looked over at Flight Strike. “Flight… I love you…” She suddenly slumped; her eyes closed.

“Scarlet?” Flight said suddenly. “Dr. Epona, did she…?”

Discord felt his chest tighten up. “No…” He whispered.

“Wait… Wait no… I’m still.” Epona Calliope muttered. “I’ve got… it.”

There was a few agonizing moments, then Scarlet Grace sat up and gasped. Discord and Flight Strike looked relieved. Flight hugged his wife tightly, tears running down his muzzle and cheeks with relief. “Oh… Gracie.”

Epona let out her breath. “Scarlet… Oh thank goodness. Discord, have you ever thought to become a doctor?”

“No. I don’t like getting dirty.” He muttered as he rubbed one of his eyes. “I’ll leave the stress to you.” He shook his head and turned his attention to his daughter.

Scarlet Grace looked up from hugging her husband. “Where is our foal?”

Epona smiled as she went to the bassinet and got the foal and brought it over to her. “Here he is. Looks like his Daddy.”

Scarlet looked down at the bundle. “Oh. He’s beautiful.” She started to cry. “Dad… look at your grandson.”

Discord swallowed hard. “Um… I… don’t know. I got to get back and…” Scarlet gave him the foal. He looked down at the foal and let out a sigh. “Oh… Gracie. He’s perfect… Like you. He’s got a yellow coat like his grandmother.” He then glanced at Flight Strike. “I think you’ve gotten another reprieve from me.”

“Dad! Don’t keep threatening my husband.” Scarlet Grace huffed. “Give me Trouble.”

“Trouble?” Discord’s ears went up as he brought the foal to his daughter.

“That’s his name.” Scarlet stated as she held him and kissed the foal’s forehead. “My little Trouble.”

Flight Strike shrugged and gave Discord a grin. “It wasn’t my idea; Scarlet said that he’ll be no end of trouble so she named him that.”

Discord went to the door. “Take two… Flight. Come and announce the birth of your son.”

Flight nodded as he followed Discord out the door, he then blinked when time started up again and Discord disappeared.
