Paradox was breathing heavily. “I don’t know if I can do this.” He said as he walked to his spot on the dais.
“Yer fine.” Crispin spoke up. “She’s probably as nervous as ya are.”
Paradox began to fidget “What if she doesn’t want to marry me? What if she runs away? What if I am not cut out to be a husband?”
“We cannot base our life on what ifs. It’s best we dive right into it and hope for the best. Embrace a little bit of chaos along the way.” Discord said as he walked up to his son. “Don’t worry Dox, you’ll do as well as I did.”
“As well as you?” He asked.
“Oh yes. All this…” Then something appeared in his paw, he opened it and started to eat crispy fried potatoes. “And a bag of chips.”
“Dad…” Paradox sighed and shook his head as Crispin looked shocked.
“I got your mind off of the wedding temporarily.” Discord said as he walked back to Fluttershy.
“I gots to go and walk the maid of honor in. Yer gonna be alright Dox?” Crispin asked.
With wide eyes Paradox nodded.
“Remember to breathe.” Discord said.
“Discord, leave your son alone he’s fine.” Fluttershy whispered.
Nearby three mares were watching the foals sleep, helping Fluttershy.
