The train stopped in Ponyville. Paradox stepped out and he put his paw out for Silver. She put her hoof in his paw and he assisted her out of the train.

“Da! Ma!” The twins said in unison as they both flew into their parent’s arms.

“Oh! You two are flying now!” Silver said as she hugged Solana.

“My little girls are getting so big.” Paradox said as he nuzzled Selene.welcomeshome

Rainbow Dash flew over to them. “Did you two have a good vacation?” She then tilted her head. “Paradox? Your wing is broken?” She had noticed the bandages around his wing.

He smirked. “Yeah, well that is a long story. I’ll tell you later.”

“Did you teach the twins how to fly?” Silver asked.

Rainbow Dash started to laugh. “Oh no… I walked into their room and they were sitting up on the highest point in the room. I actually thought you had taught them to fly before you two left, to surprise me.”

Paradox laughed. “No… Opportunity lost.” He looked at Selene as she hugged him. “You and Solana teach yourselves to fly?”

Selene looked at her sister then looked back at him. “Yes.”

“No.” Solana said. “Granspa Dissy taught us.”

Silver gulped and looked at Paradox. He slowly closed his eyes and then let out a breath he was holding in. “I am guessing you didn’t know about this?” He asked Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow shook her head. “I didn’t know. Sorry Paradox. I wouldn’t have allowed it unless you said it was okay.”

“It’s ok Mom.” Silver stated as she smiled. She took Selene from Paradox and held both twins.

“Yeah, it’s not your fault.” He stated as he tried to control the anger that was welling up inside of him. He sighed and looked at the twins. “I am so proud of you two. You fly really good too!”

The twins both smiled suddenly. “Thank you!” They both said and both flew at Paradox, tackle hugging him.

Paradox fell backwards with both girls in his arms. “Oh no! Attack of the cute girls!” They both hugged him as he flinched slightly from landing on his injured wing. “I love my girls…” He said softly. “Thanks for watching them Rainbow.”

“Hey it was my pleasure… They are my granddaughters… I got to spoil them.” She smiled.

A few weeks later.

Silver landed on the far tower roof and sighed as one of the recruits she was training landed and stumbled off the roof only to catch himself. “What was that?” She asked.silverarmor

“Sorry ma’am, I wasn’t paying attention.” He saluted as she flew over to look at him.

“Not paying attention is what gets you and your partner in trouble. Always be aware of your surroundings. Always be on the lookout for potential threats. You’re a guard you need to be alert at all times.” She flew back to where she landed to begin with. She looked at the three recruits that were trying to become royal guards.

“Ma’am?” One of the recruits saluted.

She looked at the recruit. “Yes?”

“Um…” He looked at the other two recruits and they nodded. “We were wondering…”

“Spit it out!” She said to him.

“Are you married to the actor Paradox?” He said quickly.

Silver stared at the recruit and then looked at the other two. They gave her a weak smile. “Does this have anything to do with our training?”

All three of them shook their heads. “No Ma’am.” They answered together.

“I didn’t think so.” She sighed. “Yes, I’m married to Paradox. He’s more than an actor though, so can we get back to training please?”

All three saluted. “Yes Ma’am.”

“Follow me then.” She jumped up and flapped her wings. She then flew towards the ground quickly. The recruits flew after her in surprise. “I cannot wait until my shift is over today.” She muttered.

1.zecora1“Let me get this straight, you do not wish to procreate?” Zecora asked.

“Yeah. I don’t think I’d make a good father.” Paradox said. “I love the sex, but I don’t want children. I’d ask dad, but mom would get involved and…” He let out a sigh.

“Paradox, this concerns more than you, does your mate know what you intend to do?” The zebra asked.

“Uh… no. I didn’t think to ask her what she thought.” Paradox blushed and looked at the floor.

“Sorry to be true, but I cannot help you.” Zecora shook her head as she started to work on a couple potions.

Paradox was shocked. “You won’t help me?”

She looked at him. “You need to be honest with your mate, only then I will help with your fate.”

He nodded and sighed. “I understand, but it’s complicated.”

She suddenly looked at him. “You are afraid that your youngster will become a monster?”

He bit his lower lip and looked away. “I…” He slowly nodded. “Yes.”

“I will consider your plea, thanks for being honest with me. Courage you must need to tell your mate the reason why you do not want to breed.”

“Oh! I want to make love to her! Oh yes…” He nodded a lot.

The zebra smiled. “Yes. Do not mate with her until you ask her.” She started to throw some ingredients into her cauldron.

Paradox nodded as he watched her. “What are you making?”

She looked at him warily. “A couple potions you see that I mix up for emergencies.” She poured a couple of them and set them aside.

He went to her shelves and looked at her collection of potions. They were in a rainbow of colors and he looked at them reading their labels. “Anger, boils, crankiness, Discord’s favorite. What?”

Zecora chuckled. “That one was just for fun.” She turned back to brewing another potion. She didn’t explain the potion any further.

“Erotic potion, flakey flanks IV, green gropers? Hyper potion, innocence II, juggling, knock knees, love potion III. Why do some of these have numbers?” He asked as he touched the one that said hyper potion. It had several smaller vials next to it with the same label.

“Trial and error.” She stated. “Some original potions can be a terror.”

“Alright then.” He said as he walked to the door. “I’ll talk to Silver and I’ll be back.” He smiled as he left.

Zecora let out a heavy sigh. She looked at her potions and saw several small vials were missing. She shook her head. “He’ll be back; that is a known fact.”

Paradox looked at the potions he’d borrowed from Zecora. He grabbed them at random and had no idea what he took. Some of the labels started to peel off. Some had no labels at all.

“One is bound to help me.” He whispered as he disappeared and reappeared in front of his and Silver’s home. He walked in and noticed that she wasn’t home yet.

He looked at the vials and saw one had two labels stuck on it. “One of these labels belong on another vial.” He read them. “Stamina or lustful pleasure.” He grinned. “Neither one sound that bad.” He picked up another vial. “Hyper potion; handle with care. A little goes a long way.” Paradox looked at the blue liquid within the vial. “It’s my favorite color.” He opened it to smell it.potion

The door to the cottage opened. “Doxy, I’m home.” Silver announced as she walked in stripping her armor as she did so. “It was a long day. No pony would listen to me…” She looked at him and saw that he was acting stranger than usual. “What?”mouthful

He shook his head as he stood there. When he heard the door open he grabbed the vials and put them quickly into a box and had set it aside, but he had the hyper potion open and had stuck the whole thing in his mouth. It actually tasted sweet, but he remembered that it had a warning on it. “Nothing, just have my mouth full.” He mumbled and swallowed.

“Dox, you need to stop eating all the time.” Silver stated as she sat and started to pull her armored shoes off.

As she looked away he took the vial from his mouth and gulped when he saw that it was empty. “Oh… no.”

Silver smiled at him as she got up and walked to the kitchen. “You didn’t start dinner yet?”

“No.” He felt a strange tingling throughout his body. “Sorry Silver I was out. Oh no…” He was suddenly shaking all over.

She walked out of the kitchen and looked at him. “Are you alright?”

He shook his head and fell over, blacking out.

“Are thou sure ye need to do this?” Luna asked.

“It’s my brother, I thought he was gone forever but apparently being sent to Tartarus wasn’t enough for him; he had to become a demon. Trying to corrupt my children in their dreams… possessing them. The only way I can think of getting rid of him is to go to Tartarus and confront him there.”

“I’ll take you to the gates of Tartarus.” Twilight said quietly.

His ears went up as he looked at her. “Twilight, I wouldn’t ask you to lead me somewhere as dangerous as the gates of Tartarus.”

“I’ve been there before. I had to take Cerberus there when he wandered away. That was when Tirek escaped without our knowledge.” She put her head down. “Anyway, I can accompany you.”

“Thank you Twilight.” He looked at Luna. “It seems that he can only corrupt my children when they sleep, can you make sure they do not sleep until we get back?”

“That may become difficult.” Luna confessed. “We shall try our best. Good Luck Discord.”

Both Discord and Twilight disappeared in a flash of light.

Luna, Twilight, Discord, Lilly, Paradox and Fluttershy all sat at the table.

“What is going on?” Twilight asked. “Discord, what is this shadow?”

He looked at her. “If I knew that then I could deal with it. As of right now, I have no idea what we are dealing with.”

Luna wrinkled her nose. “The entity was forming a corporal body but before we could discern a shape it had taken Celestia and disappeared.”

“Dad, it’s the demon from my depression! It wants me back. It wants my soul. I don’t want to go back. I don’t. I… feel so helpless.” Paradox gasped out. “Please Dad don’t let it get me.”Comingforme

Discord put his paw on Paradox’s shoulder and squeezed him reassuringly. “I won’t let it near you. You’ll be alright.”

Silver Dash was standing right beside Zero; they both were in their uniforms. “It’ll be alright Doxy.” She whispered.

Zero looked at Silver. “I hope so.” He said to her.

Scarlet Grace walked into the room followed by her husband Flight Strike she had Trouble in her arms. “We came as soon as we could. What happened?”

“Twilight and Luna decided to visit Celestia in her dreams.” Discord muttered. “It didn’t go the way it should have.”

Scarlet Grace blinked. “What?”

Twilight Sparkle sighed and told Scarlet Grace what had happened to get her up to speed.

Fluttershy looked up at her daughter. “Gracie, I think Scarlet needs to place her paw on Luna or Twilight. Maybe she can get a vision of what is going on.”

Flight Strike walked forward. “Oh no. She doesn’t need the stress.”flightstrike

“Flight, it’s ok. I’ll be fine.” She gave him Trouble to hold. “It’s a good thing he’s asleep.” She walked over to Luna. “Princess Luna? May I?”

Luna glanced at every pony in the room and nodded. “Yes.”

Scarlet placed her paw on Luna’s shoulder then looked over at Twilight. “Auntie, I mean… Princess Twilight? May I?”

“Sure.” Twilight nodded, she felt odd that her niece was asking permission to touch her shoulder.

Scarlet placed her claw on Twilight and suddenly let out a soft breath. She started to blink as her eyes clouded over and they glowed white. “Revenge, retribution. He’ll please his master he’ll not be defeated. The unborn. P… Paradox. Make him be who he doesn’t want to be. Corrupt all. The ultimate prize.” She suddenly let go of both of the Alicorn’s and stumbled back. Both Zero and Silver stepped forward and steadied Scarlet Grace. She leaned on them as they led her to the chair close to Flight.

She sat down her eyes still blind as she placed her claw and paw on the table in front of her. She opened her mouth slightly and seemed to be talking to herself, a whispering noise was coming from her lips. She put her head up and gasped loudly several times as if she was needing air. When she looked back down her eyes had turned completely black.

“That is creepy.” Breathed Paradox as he stared at his younger sister.gracetrance“Shush.” LillyRose muttered.

Scarlet stared ahead with her black eyes. She opened her mouth to talk, her voice wasn’t her own. She looked directly at Paradox. “You’re going to come back.” She looked over at Discord. “I… will destroy you.”

Discord growled as he hit the table in front of Scarlet. “Who are you!?”

“You know who I am.” Scarlet growled back. “Don’t be ignorant.”

Discord suddenly frowned. “Get out of my daughter now!”

“Now Discord… You know I am just being filtered through her. Although she is quite comfortable; maybe I’ll stay for a while.”

Flight Strike got up. “NO! Not my Gracie!”

Lilly put her hoof up and made Flight sit back down. “It’s alright Flight, she’s just a vessel right now. She’ll not be harmed.”

Scarlet looks at LillyRose. “You… I underestimated you last time. I know how to get you now… You are just part of the whole.”

Scarlet suddenly gasped loudly and her head went forward and she started to shake as she closed her eyes. Everyone stood up as they watched Scarlet go into a convulsion. She grabbed the table digging her claws into the wood. She put her head back again as she growled. “GET OUT!” She shook again as she put her head against the table. She slowly opened her eyes and they were back to normal.

“Grace.” Flight Strike said to her as he gave her a kiss on her muzzle. “Are you alright?”

Grace looked at every pony staring at her. “I think I passed out. Sorry.”

Discord suddenly sat down heavily on his chair. “I think I know who it is.”

Every pony looked at him.

Twilight blinked. “WHO!?”

“It’s a demon!” Paradox yelled. “And he’s coming to drag me into Tartarus! I cannot… I won’t go!” He looked at Fluttershy. “Mom… The demon tried to turn me… he tried to make me a monster… Please Mom… Please.”

Fluttershy hugged Paradox and held him close. “It’s okay Doxy. We’ll keep you safe. Won’t we?” She looked up at Discord.

“Of course we will.” Discord answered. “Nothing is going to tear my family apart.” He looked at Twilight and Luna. “We have to talk…. Privately.”

Both Luna and Twilight nodded.

He kissed Fluttershy on her lips. “I just need to go. I’ll be back love.” Fluttershy nodded. He ruffled Paradox’s mane and hugged Lilly and Scarlet Grace. “Don’t worry I’ll fix this.”

“Dad, what are you going to do?” Lilly asked as she suddenly saw that her father was following Luna and Twilight out the door.

“I’m going to fix the problem Lilly.”

“I’m coming with you.” Lilly said.

Zero suddenly walked over to Lilly. “Dear. I don’t think it’s wise, you’re about to foal.”

She bit her bottom lip. “But… I cannot just…”

Discord looked at Lilly. “It’ll be okay. The shadow was banished before… It can be again.”

Lilly sat up suddenly. “Zero!”

Zero sat up; he had gotten to bed late after the long meeting he, Lilly, and Discord had about giving Fluttershy a baby shower. “What? Are you in labor? Do we need to get to the hospital?”

Lilly shook her head as she looked at her husband, her eyes wide in fright. “The shadow it… We have to tell dad!” She blinked as tears started to fall from her eyes.

Zero got out of bed and looked around the room. “How do you know this?”

“Paradox told me.” Lilly said as she got out of bed. “Come on, it’s important that Dad knows.”

“Wait… Lilly.” He said but she was already opening the door to their room.

“Zero, we cannot wait forever.” She said… She clicked her tongue and appeared beside him. She grabbed his hoof and clicked her tongue again and they both appeared just outside Discord and Fluttershy’s room. The two guards stood there and looked at them in shock when they appeared.

One guard blinked and recovered from the shock quickly. “Halt.”

“I have to talk to my Dad! It’s important.” Lilly said to the guard.

“Lord Discord said that he and Lady Fluttershy wasn’t to be disturbed.”

Zero walked up to them. “Lord Discord had appointed me captain of the night guard. Stand down. Lilly has to see her father.”

“Sir!” Both guards said together when they recognized Zero and they saluted.

Lilly went up to the door and knocked loudly upon it. “Mom! Dad!”

A week later Twilight had just left the room where Celestia was being kept. She didn’t awaken the whole time Twilight had been with her. Twilight saw that the day was coming to an end as she walked down the hallway of Canterlot castle. She felt that everything she had tried to make Celestia better had failed.

She was about to walk out the nearest door to the courtyard when she saw Discord walk from the throne room and down the hall. She decided to follow him.

Discord’s ear perked up when he heard Twilight following him. He chose to ignore her and opened a door to the side and went in.

Twilight ran up to the door Discord just went in. Taking a deep breath she opened it and went in as well. She blinked suddenly when she noticed she was in Discord’s library. “What?” She turned around and the door she entered was gone. “Discord!”

He appeared in front of her and placed his paw on her chin. “You’re following me. Why?”

Twilight moved her head away. “I… Why are we in your library?” She asked back.

“I seem to be the one that is asking the questions here.” He replied as a pair of glasses appeared on the bridge of his muzzle. “Why were you following me? Is there a reason? Do you want to ask me something?”

Twilight looked at him. “I… I shouldn’t have to explain myself to you.” She huffed.

“Whatever Twilight.” He started to pull books from random shelves of his library with his magic. “I think anything you need answers to are in here.” He piled the books in front of her. “Now if you will excuse me; I have to check on my pregnant wife.” He disappeared leaving her alone.

“I didn’t want to look through your library!” She shouted.

His voice answered. “Well… too bad!”

Twilight looked at the books placed before her and she blinked. “How to cure brain injuries. Dementia and you. When can I pull the plug? The healing power of crystals.” She read the titles out loud as she looked through them. “How to survive the Zom-pony apocalypse? What?” Twilight placed the book to the side. “That’s a silly title.”

Twilight stared at the books hoping one would just present itself to her. She lifted one up and started to page through it. She never read this book before and wondered what other books were in Discord’s library that had never been seen by any pony. She frowned as she read some of the chapter of the book she opened. Some of the best cures have been developed through natural means. If anyone is to have suffered a mental breakdown, be sure to get a lot of sunshine, and consult a zebra.

“What? Consult a zebra? Why?” She read through the book more as her eyes started to widen. “Why isn’t this book in my library?” She closed it and looked at the title.

“Cures for the Mind and Soul. Written by Star Swirl the Bearded.” Twilight gasped as she opened the book again and saw that it was even signed by him. It was inscribed: To my associate Discord hopefully you don’t cause too much chaos while I am away. –Star Swirl. Twilight was in total shock as she started to read the book more.

“The celebration can start now, because I am here.” Discord said as he walked into Sugar Cube Corner with Fluttershy. Every pony looked at him and Lilly started to snicker at her father.

“Discord, your son hasn’t gotten here yet, you might as well sit down.” Twilight said sharply.

“Kind of grumpy today Twilight?” He asked as he walked over to the table with the cakes and sweets. Fluttershy walked over to her friends and sat in a chair next to Rainbow Dash and started to chat with her.

Rainbow Dash was biting on her lower lip as she sat in her chair. She looked at Fluttershy and gave a weak smile. “What if Silver says no?”

“Um, don’t worry about it Rainbow, everything will be okay.” Fluttershy said quietly to her friend. “Doxy is a good boy… Silver really does enjoy being around him.”

Discord strolled over to the empty seat next to Fluttershy as he carried a plate full of food and he set it in front of Fluttershy. “Little mommy needs to eat more food, growing babies need nibbles.” He cooed to her.dinnerdiscord

Rainbow Dash, Pinkie and Twilight all looked at Fluttershy. “You’re pregnant again?” They asked in unison.

Fluttershy squeaked and hid her face behind her mane and Discord grinned proudly. “Yes, she is.”

Apple Jack walked in followed by Rarity who was wearing another one of her elegant gowns.

Apple Jack saw her son Crispin sitting really close to Sprinkle Icing and she smiled. “Hey Crispin, I see you got yer chores finished. Well done.” She walked to where her friends were sitting. “Hey Twi, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Discord.” Twilight and Rainbow were still looking at Fluttershy but Pinkie waved at Apple Jack.

“Hey AJ!” Pinkie Pie giggled. “Guess what I saw.”

“Tell me.” Apple Jack said.

“Crispin and Sprinkle Icing kissed.” Pinkie blurted out. “And Fluttershy is pregnant again.”

Apple Jack blinked a couple times. “Whoa, Crispin actually kissed yer daughter? I’m more shocked than a barrel full of electric eels.” She looked over at Crispin; Sprinkle Icing was leaning against him with a smile on her face. “And what is this news about Fluttershy?” She said as she looked over to Discord and Fluttershy.

“Apparently Fluttershy is pregnant again.” Twilight answered as she saw Fluttershy get embarrassed again.

“Again?” Rarity said in shock as she approached them. “Oh dear, you think you can handle another foal at your age? Your own children are having children.”

Fluttershy looked at her friends. “I um… Well, I don’t know.” She squeaked again when Discord placed his paw on her shoulder.

“I don’t think it’s a matter of her age. I can keep an eye on her. She’s perfectly healthy and we have the best doctor in all of Equestria that watches over my whole family.” Discord interjected.

“True, your doctor is one of the best in Equestria.” Twilight nodded. “We just worry about you.”

“I’ll be alright.” Fluttershy replied.

“Yay! You made it!” Pinkie Pie yelled as she saw her daughter’s friends walk into the store. Crispin stepped back when Pinkie plowed into Apple Bloom. “Sprinkle Icing had been working at this party all morning. With a little help from me.”

Sprinkle Icing was decorating a cake as she looked at her mother and saw Crispin standing to the side. Her eyes widened as a smile spread on her face. She loved seeing Crispin; he always made her happy. “Mom… We have to get this ready before Dox and Silver come.” She waved to Crispin.

“Okay! Apple Bloom can you help me in the kitchen? I’m working on apple turnovers and you’re the best advisor on them.” Pinkie giggled as she pulled Apple Bloom into the kitchen.

“Crispin! Come here, I need you to see this.” Sprinkle Icing grinned as she put another rose on the cake she was decorating. Crispin walked over and looked at the cake. “What do you think?” she asked.

Crispin looked at it and looked at Sprinkle. “It’s beautiful.” He whispered.

She smiled with his answer. “Great! Thank you. I worked hard on it.” She looked up at him and saw he was staring at her. “Oh, do I have something on my muzzle?” She looked at her muzzle cross-eyed.

“Yep.” Crispin said and kissed her muzzle quickly and turned his face away as he felt his ears burning.

Sprinkle Icing blinked in surprise. “Crispin?”

He looked at her. “Hmm?”

She had a blush running over her cheeks. “You kissed me.” She whispered as she looked at him.

He nodded. “Yep. I’d do it again if ya want me to.”

Sprinkle was about to reply when the bell on the door rang. LillyRose and Zero walked in. “Lilly!” Sprinkle waved to her friend and Crispin blushed as Sprinkle turned her attention away from him.

“Sprinkle! Crispin! I’m so glad to see you two!” Lilly said as she went to them.

Sprinkle looked at Lilly. “Oh my goodness! You’re preggers!” She hugged Lilly and looked at Zero. “You’re the one…” She hugged him and Zero looked at her in shock and uncertainty.

Lilly smiled. “Yeah Zero is one of Dad’s guards. He’s also my husband. Zero this is my good friend Sprinkle Icing and that big shy unicorn there is Crispin Apple.”

Zero suddenly bowed to Sprinkle Icing and Crispin. “It’s a pleasure to meet friends of my lovely wife.”

“Oh, he’s so adorable.” Sprinkle Icing squealed.

Crispin just stood there sizing Zero up. Zero went over to Lilly and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

“Lilly when are you due?” Sprinkle asked.

“Well…” Lilly trotted over to her friend and they started to talk about foals and girl things. Zero went to a table and started to look at all the items upon it. Cakes, candies, treats and several snacks.

Crispin walked up to Zero. “How were ya able to do it?”

Zero looked at Crispin. “Excuse me?”

“Lilly can be very moody and she was notorious for being unable to keep a boyfriend past one date, how were ya able to accomplish what others couldn’t?” It was the most Crispin had said in a long time.

“Apparently those others didn’t know that Lilly is as beautiful inside as she is outside. She’s more than beautiful; she’s my love eternal. I know that doesn’t really answer your question but I know how I feel about her.”

Crispin nodded. “So ya ended up dating?”

“Well, um it is a little complicated. I was Lilly’s guard, and I kind of fell for her charms.” He smiled as if remembering. “So tell me about yourself and life in Ponyville.”

Crispin looked at Zero. “Um well, it’s Ponyville and I’m a unicorn, my ma is an earth pony. We live on Sweet Apple Acres.”

“Oh? I’m an earth pony.” Zero stated.

Crispin leaned over and looked at Zero’s wings. “Uh huh… ya don’t look like no earth pony.”

Zero blinked and suddenly flapped his wings. “Oh these, heh… Lilly gave them to me.”

The unicorn’s eyes widened. “She magiced them on ya? Oh! I need to learn that.” Crispin looked over at Lilly and saw her gesturing to Sprinkle about her pregnancy as she rubbed her swollen belly. He noticed that Sprinkle suddenly looked over at him and he blushed as he looked away.

“Crispin?” Zero asked.

He looked at Zero. “Yeah?”

“If you like Sprinkle so much you really should tell her.”

“Is it that obvious?” he asked. “Some pony I just met can see it. I’m afraid she’d reject me.”

Zero looked over at his wife and Sprinkle. “She definitely won’t reject you. That mare wants you.” Zero smirked. “Believe me. I’ve seen that look before.”

Crispin blinked. “Yer not the first pony to say that. Paradox said I should tell her too.”

“So what’re you waiting for?” Zero replied.

“I’m not good with my words.”

“My brother in law and I don’t always get along, but he’s right. So what’re you waiting for?” Zero replied. “Go up and tell her.”

Sprinkle came prancing over to them. “You two are being quiet. Lilly and I think that maybe you two are up to no good being quiet and whispering.”

Zero was surprised by the insinuation of being up to no good. “I’m a loyal guard, I am usually not up to no good.”

“Unless you are with me in bed.” Lilly said.

He blinked at Lilly as his ears turned red. “What? Lilly! Stop talking like that.” He put his head down as he felt his blush running over his face.

Crispin didn’t really say anything as he just stared at Sprinkle Icing. Zero suddenly nudged him in the side and Crispin stumbled forward. He stumbled up against Sprinkle muzzle to muzzle.

“Whoa Crispin are you ok?” Sprinkle Icing asked as she looked at him eye to eye.

Lilly saw how close Crispin and Sprinkle was. She looked at Zero who was smirking. “Oh.” She whispered as she went to Zero.

Crispin gulped as he stared at Sprinkle. “Sorry Sprinkle… I didn’t mean to bump into you.” He then moved back slightly, but before he could move too far away Sprinkle smiled and moved her muzzle up and kissed him. His ears perked up as his eyes widened in surprise he was about to step back when Sprinkle put her hooves around his neck as she kissed him deeper.

“What did I tell you?” Zero muttered as he and Lilly moved away to let Sprinkle and Crispin kiss.

Pinkie Pie and Apple Bloom walked out of the kitchen chatting when Pinkie noticed her daughter kissing Crispin. Her eyes widened and she squeaked when Apple Bloom placed her hoof over Pinkie’s mouth. “Don’t spoil the moment Pinkie.” She said.

Paradox stood with Silver Dash at her mom’s house in Cloudsdale. It looked beautiful and large. Silver led him through the house to a dining room. He glanced around the place. “Aunt Rainbow does pretty well.”

“She doesn’t like it. Says it’s not nice like a regular comfy cloud.” Silver giggled.

“Your mom is strange sometimes.” He muttered.

“I find that funny coming from a child of Discord.” Rainbow Dash said as she flew over to them and landed expertly on the floor in front of them. “So? You wanted to talk to me?” She looked directly at Paradox.

“Um yeah, I do but, well… privately actually.” Paradox felt his cheeks starting to burn.

Silver blinked. “Why?”

He blinked at Silver. “Because… um I have to ask your mom something.”

She blushed at him. “Really?”

He nodded and tried to keep his face from burning.

Rainbow Dash watched the spectacle for a moment. “Okay, come on Dox we’ll talk in… I guess this room over here.” She opened a door and flew in Paradox followed her while shrugging to Silver Dash.

After they went in the room Silver started to run in place and giggle with giddiness. “Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!”

The room was a study, there were book shelves with trophies all over and one shelf dedicated to books. A series of books about Daring Do. Rainbow Dash sat on the desk. “So Dox, what do you want to ask me?”

He swallowed hard. “Um… D… d… aunt Dash. I… I…”

“Paradox? What is going on? I never heard you stutter before?” She looked at him quizzically.canimmmarry“This is… I mean…” He closed his eyes tightly. “I want your permission to marry your daughter.” He blurted it out quickly before he lost his nerve. Slowly he opened his eyes and looked at Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash was looking at him. “Did you just ask me my permission to marry Silver?”

He nodded. “Y… yes. I want to marry her, I want to be with her and and…” he started to blush.

“And paint her like you did the other day?” She laughed. “Awesome painting by the way, she had more colors in her mane than I do.”

Paradox’s ears went up. “I well… Um I… she does make an awesome canvas.” He was blushing profusely. “So? Can I please marry her? She makes me happy.” He felt his paws sweat.

Rainbow Dash stared at him and watched as he tried hard to look comfortable under her gaze. She enjoyed making him squirm and fidget. After as few moments she decided to answer. “Sure, you can marry her, but promise me grandchildren.”

“Oh! Thank you… wait… how soon do you want grandchildren?”

Rainbow Dash shrugged. “Whenever. It’s no rush.”

“Aunt Rainbow, you made me the happiest draconequus ever.” He went over to her and hugged her.

“Yeah, well don’t ruin my reputation for being tough. You got to say I was difficult to convince.” she winked as she preened her feathers.

“Sure. Thank you so much.” He suddenly felt his stomach knot up. “Oh, now I have to find a way to ask her.”

“Good luck with that.” Rainbow laughed.
