“The suspense is killing me.” Rainbow Dash got up and walked over to the waiting room entrance and jumped back when the door opened and Paradox came out.

Paradox looked at his mother-in-law. “Hey RD.”

“Well? I want to see my daughter and my grandchild!” Rainbow Dash demanded and poked Paradox in the chest.

“Alright.” He smiled as he opened the door for Silver. “Dear, the natives are restless.”

Silver walked out and smiled. “Hey Mom. What’s… eep!” Rainbow Dash hugged her daughter tightly. Silver hugged her mother for a long moment. “I’m alright mom.”

Rainbow let her go and looked at her. “Looks like you lost some weight. Remember after having a foal, you have to get back into shape. So where is my grandchild?”

Paradox already went to the observation room. “In here. The nurse should be ready.”

Discord walked past him and ruffled Paradox’s mane. “Proud of you.”

Every pony went into the room where the window was to the nursery. There were several bassinets in the nursery with several foals. Rainbow Dash flew from one side of the window to the other looking into bassinets hoping that one of them was her grandchild. “That one looks strong. Oh maybe that one there?”

Discord’s eye twitched as Rainbow Dash kept flying past him.

Fluttershy looked in the window and saw two bassinets next to one another with twins. “Oh… Oh my…”

Paradox walked in. “Did you guess which foal is ours?” He asked.

Fluttershy spoke up quietly. “Um… I think I know…”

“Ya’ll have ta’ tell us Paradox.” Big Mac said. “An’ do it quickly before Dash has an anxiety attack.”

“Or I make her wings disappear.” Discord grumbled.

Rainbow Dash looked around. “Where’s Silver?”

Paradox pointed into the nursery. “She went back in to stand near the baby.”

They all looked and saw Silver walk into the nursery. She waved and smiled at them as she walked toward the front of the nursery. She walked forward and turned around in between the two bassinets with the twins. She then looked up at them and looked down at the twin foals.

Rainbow Dash blinked and let out a sudden squeak. “Twins! That is totally awesome!”

Fluttershy blushed. “I knew it…” She sniffled as she started to tear up. “Twins.”

Discord went over to Fluttershy and rubbed her shoulders. “You guessed or did Scarlet tell you this?”

She shook her head. “No… The twins have Doxy’s eyes. Look at them.”

Discord looked and smiled. “You’re right.” He laughed. “They better give them back.”

Paradox leaned on the glass as he looked at Silver and the foals. Slowly he signed, ‘I love you’ to Silver. He then signed, ‘you’re beautiful’ to her and Silver suddenly blushed.

Apple Jack watched him do the sign language and wondered what he was doing. “What is going on?”

Paradox’s ears went up. “What? Oh um… I’m talking to Silver.”

“How do ya do that?” AJ asked.

“Well, I use my paws.” He moved his fingers. “I just told her that I loved her and I think she is beautiful.”

Discord chuckled as he approached and signed something to his son.

“Dad! Silver knows what you just signed!” Paradox blushed and looked over to Silver and she was looking at Discord with her eyes wide.

“Sorry Dox.” Discord glanced at Silver. “Nope, not sorry.” He grinned then signed something at Silver and her eyes widened more as she suddenly shook her head fast.

“Dad! Stop it.” Paradox said and pushed his father out of the observation room.

“What are their names?” Rainbow Dash asked.

Paradox was happy to answer. “Selene and Solana.”

“Oh my goodness, those are beautiful names.” Fluttershy sighed. “I cannot wait to hold them.”

“I can’t wait till I can spoil them!” RD laughed.

“Did you hear anything new?” Fluttershy asked Discord. He had walked back from talking to one of the nurses and sat next to her in the waiting room.

“Nothing yet Fluttershy.” He said and looked at Rainbow Dash who was nibbling on her hooves nervously. “Are you surviving over there RD?”

Rainbow Dash looked at him and nodded quickly then shook her head. She took the cup of water that was offered her from Apple Jack. “Yeah… Yeah… I guess… Why hasn’t Paradox come out to talk to us yet?”

Discord shrugged. “I don’t know.”

“It’ll be alright Sugar cube.” Apple Jack said to RD. “No news is good news, right?”

“I guess so…” Rainbow nodded and looked over at Big Mac who was making faces at Snafu in the stroller next to Fluttershy. “Thanks for telling me AJ.”

The door to the waiting room opened and Paradox walked out, his wings were still dragging behind him and he looked worn out. “Hey…” He waved as he settled down on the closest chair nearby. They all stared at him as he sat there.tireddox

“WELL?” Rainbow Dash said a little too loudly causing several of the nurses to look at her sternly.

Paradox looked up at them his eyes were sunken in and he let out a deep breath. “Sorry… I’m just really tired from flying…” He stood up slowly and stretched. “I have some news.”

Every pony looked at him anxiously.

“Silver is doing really well. Doctor Epona told me that it’ll be about an hour and I should tell you.” He saw the looks of relief go over their faces. He then looked at his father. “Dad… how can you deal with this stress?”

“This is only the beginning…” Discord chuckled.

A nurse walked into the room. “Is there a Paradox out here?”

Discord started to snicker and Paradox stood up as he gave his father a frown. “Dad, really? Must you make fun of my name now?”

“One must take the opportunity when the time comes.”

“I’m here.” Paradox said to the nurse.

“Your wife is asking for you.”

“Okay.” He looked nervously at every pony and followed the nurse back in. “Hopefully next time you see me it’ll be with the foal and Silver.”

Silver moved slightly to her side and suddenly gasped as a pain shot through her. “What?”

Paradox was instantly awake and looked over at her. “What is it?”

She shook her head and moved again and the pain radiated around her stomach. “Oh!”

Paradox sat up and looked at his wife in concern. “Silver, tell me.”

She put her hoof up as she took in deep breath and then let it out slowly. “Wait a moment.” She took in another breath and then her eyes widened. “Ouch. Oh…” She gasped as she looked at him nervously.

Paradox blinked at his wife. “Is…?”

Silver yelled out in pain as it radiated around her stomach. “Doxy… I… think so.”

He jumped out of bed. “It’s time, I’m gonna be a dad; oh what do I do; what should I do? Silver…?”

She looked at him and slowly rubbed her belly as he looked at her for advice. “Tell the doctor? Take me to the hospital, tell my family and yours.” She smiled then clutched her stomach and let out a pained whimper.

He went over to her and kissed her face. “How do I do all this?”

“Get me to the hospital first.” She gasped out as another wave of pain hit her. “Remember the pain you had when your sister…  um… Lilly went into labor?”

He nodded and swallowed hard. “Don’t remind me. I’m going to get you to the hospital.” He moved to her side and picked her up gently.

“Don’t use magic Doxy. Please.” She said quickly.

“What? How am I to get you to the hospital fast?” He asked with slight panic in his voice.

“You can fly… fly me there.” She said as she put her hoof on his cheek. “Just don’t use magic Doxy.”

He let out a sigh as he nodded. “Ok, I’ll fly you there, although I am a little rusty.” He walked to the door to the balcony off their bedroom and went out. Swallowing hard he spread his wings out, stretching them out fully and flapping them in the early morning.flight2

Silver squeaked and closed her eyes when he jumped up and took flight. This was the first time he ever flew while holding her and she could have sworn that he had never flown the whole time they ever dated; although he had mentioned several times that her mother made him fly laps as punishments for different things when he was younger.

He flew up and held Silver to him gently but firmly. He wanted to be careful as he flew over a part of Everfree Forest and over his parent’s cottage. As he flew over their cottage he looked down to see if either one of them were outside. There wasn’t a sign of either one of them so he pumped his wings and flew towards Ponyville.

Silver carefully opened her eyes and let out the breath she was holding in. She whimpered with the pain but she was also in awe on how well he flew.

He held her protectively as he used heavy strong beats of his wings to move swiftly. They flew through the outskirts of Ponyville and Silver noticed that Paradox was starting to breathe heavily. He flew over Sweet Apple Acres as he scanned the orchard and suddenly noticed trees being shook to loosen apples. He flew for it.

Silver didn’t know what he was doing since he took a slight detour into Sweet Apple Acres. “Doxy? What are you … Doing?” She gasped out as she was hit with another pain.

“Don’t worry…” He panted as he answered her. He suddenly reversed his forward movement to hover in place his wings beating hard and fast as he hovered over the trees being bucked and spotted Big Mac, Crispin Apple and Apple Jack.

Silver now knew what Paradox wanted to do. She saw her father. “Dad!”

Big Mac, AJ and Crispin all looked up. “What the hay is going on?” Apple Jack demanded.

Paradox was panting hard. “I can hardly talk… Tell him Silver.”

Silver nodded and let out a slight cry of pain then composed herself. “I’m in labor and Doxy is taking me to the hospital tell every pony please.” She said.

Big Mac ran forward just as Paradox turned and flew off with Silver. “Sorry…” He shouted back over his shoulder. “I got to get you there before I run out of breath.” He muttered.

Silver nodded. Paradox gave bigger wing beats and flew towards the hospital. When he got to the Ponyville general hospital he landed at the entrance and stood to regain his strength still holding her in his arms. Folding his wings behind him he walked her into the emergency room carrying her still. “My wife is in labor.”

The nurses perked up and they helped Paradox by taking Silver into the back. He went with them his wings were feeling tired as they unfurled and dragged behind him.

‘Silver is so beautiful why would she even want me? Oh she’s right next to me looking at me, oh I’m so scared, and I’m going to start freaking out. I’m going to…’ the thoughts ran through Paradox’s mind quickly.

Luna spread out her wings and smiled. “We are gathered here to unite two souls. Who is giving this lovely bride away?”

“I am.” Big Mac answered. He looked at Paradox. “Ya take care of her.” Paradox nodded.

There was a loud bawling from the front row of the seating. Every pony looked and saw Rainbow Dash bawling while Rarity pat her on the back. “Darling you’re making a scene.”

“My little girl!” Rainbow Dash cried. “She is so beautiful! Waaah!”

Silver grinned then whispered. “Mom… geez.”

“Okay, I’m okay.” Rainbow Dash muttered as she sniffled and Big Mac went to sit down next to her. She leaned on him and started to sniffle again. “Mac! Our daughter’s getting married!” She started crying again as she hugged him.

He patted Rainbow Dash. “Eeyup. Calm down Dash.”

Apple Jack leaned forward because she was sitting behind them. “How come ya’ll kept this a secret from me?” She whispered.

“You never asked.” Rainbow Dash whispered in between sobs.

“Ahem.” Luna continued. “These two lovely young souls are committed to be wed this lovely evening, Young Lord Paradox and Young Lieutenant Silver Dash.” She smiled at both of them. “If there is a pony who thinks these two should not be wed thou shall speak now, or be forever silent.”

Discord sat up and looked at the audience menacingly. No pony said anything.

Silver was looking at Paradox and he was looking at her. She saw him shaking slightly but he stared at her intently with his deep azure eyes. She was marrying him, she’ll wake up next to him, hug him and kiss him daily. She loved him so much.

Paradox was shaking so much. He shook his paws a bit because he felt sweaty in between his pads. He looked at her as she stood there and saw her eyes, she was looking into his. Her eyes beautiful pools of silver and magenta. He wanted to kiss her, he needed to kiss her.

Luna smiled and looked at Paradox. “Do thou Paradox take Silver to be your wife?”

Paradox blinked when he realized that Luna was talking to him. “Huh?”

Luna tried not to giggle. “Do thou take Silver to be your wife?”

“Oh! Gods yes! How can I not? She’s smoking hot!” He said.

Luna’s eyes widened. “Hmm, well then ye said yes.” She looked at Silver Dash. “Do thou take Paradox to be your husband?”

Silver blushed as she nodded. “Yes. I do.”

“The rings?” Luna said.

Crispin handed Paradox the ring, and Sprinkle Icing gave Silver a ring.

“The exchanging of rings to bind the souls together, to symbolize their bond. The circle is to represent the eternal love they have for one another. These two souls have consented to the arrangements of the ceremony we give all in attendance; Mr. and Mrs. Paradox. Mare and Draconequus. Ye can kiss thou’s wife.” Luna stepped back.

Paradox pulled Silver to him and kissed her deeply.weddingkissSilver melted into his kiss as he pulled her close to him. It was as if they were the only two in the room. She didn’t hear the noise of ponies cheering all she cared about was he was now her husband. When they stopped kissing he just looked into her eyes and smiled. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” She whispered back as she blushed. “My Doxy.”

He leaned up to her ear. “I cannot begin to tell you how pent up I am. Gods…”

She blushed. “Oh my goodness Doxy. We still have to go to the ballroom for the reception.”

He grinned at her. “Hmm, I know.”

The wedding procession started to file out of the throne room and Paradox was becoming anxious. He glanced at his father.

Discord smiled at his son. He made a motion with his paw and claw as if he was lifting something and he jogged in place. Paradox blinked. Discord sighed; he disappeared and then reappeared on Paradox’s shoulder dressed as an angel and in a miniature size. “Pick up your wife and run for it.” He said.

“What? Why?” Paradox asked.

“Dox, do I need to draw you a picture?” He asked as he pointed at Silver Dash. “Pick up your wife and disappear then show up in the ballroom later.”

“Oh… OH!” He grinned as he picked Silver up. Discord disappeared from his shoulder.

“Doxy! What’re you doing?” Silver giggled.

“I’m taking you.” He said as they disappeared and then reappeared at his old bedroom. His bed was made as he walked her over to it and set her down on it.

“Taking me?” She asked him.

“Oh yes. You’re my wife.” He whispered to her. “I just want to… start the honeymoon early.”

She smiled at him. “Doxy, I’m in my wedding dress, I don’t want to ruin it.”

“I’ll be careful. I…” He looked at the dress and tilted his head. “How do I get it off of you?”

She started to giggle. “After we go to the reception I’ll take it off for you.”

“Aww, Silver, you’re teasing me.” He muttered. “I want you bad.”

“Believe me Doxy, I want you too, but it’s not good to avoid your own party. I’ll make it up to you.” She motioned him over to her.

He got closer to her. “Yes?”

She took her hoof and pulled his tuxedo pants down to reveal his arousal. “Oh, is that for me?” She asked.

Paradox nodded as he looked down at her. “Yes. Silver, I ache just to be in you. Oh gods…” He moaned out when she rubbed her hot tongue on his tip.

Fluttershy had her grandchildren in a baby carriage. She looked in on them and smiled. She then adjusted the baby sling on her chest with her own infant. All were sleeping. Trouble was the most difficult to get to sleep being that he was the oldest of the three. Silver Dash wanted LillyRose and Grace to be her bride matrons. Paradox wanted Zero and Flight Strike as his ushers. So Fluttershy volunteered to watch the foals.runetroubleTwilight trotted over to Fluttershy. “Do you need any help?” she whispered.

“No, right now I’m fine. They are all asleep I’m hoping they stay asleep until after the ceremony.” she whispered back. “The place looks very beautiful. I’d have my birds sing for the wedding but I have my hooves full. Plus I don’t think Paradox likes birds singing.”

Twilight laughed lightly. “Anything you do for your son, he’d love.”

“Thank you Twilight.” Fluttershy whispered as she rolled the stroller back and forth.

“I’ll send over Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo to help you with the foals.” Twilight stated.

“Oh, you don’t have to do that.” Fluttershy blushed.

“Fluttershy, your son is getting married, I think you need to do more than foal sit.” She whispered.

The organ started to play rather spooky music every pony looked over to see Discord playing it dressed in a long cape and wearing a half mask. He stopped playing for a moment and hissed. “Don’t look at me! I’m hideous!” He then started to laugh as he disappeared letting the original organ player take a seat and start playing more appropriate music for the wedding.

Discord appeared in front of Fluttershy. “Hey sweetness? Looks like you have your hooves full of cute foals. Let me hold ours for you.”

She gave him the foal from the sling. “He’s asleep.” She whispered.

Discord smiled at the foal as he cradled him. “Little Snafu. Are you gonna behave while your big brother gets married?”

“Don’t wake him up.” Fluttershy warned him as she looked in on Trouble and Rune Eclipse. Rune Eclipse was snuggled up against her cousin Trouble.

Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle walked up to them. “Twilight sent us over here to help ya.” Apple Bloom said.

“Hmm. Hello.” Discord said to the three mares. “Yes, my wife would like to have a little help with foal sitting.”

“We all helped AJ raise Crispin.” Apple Bloom announced, “And Scootaloo did foal sitting for Rainbow Dash a couple times.”

Sweetie Belle shuffled her hooves. “I helped them. I’m good at singing lullabies to foals.”

Fluttershy smiled. “Hopefully you wouldn’t have to do much. Trouble and Rune are sleeping and Discord is holding Snafu. I am just hoping they rest until after the ceremony.”

Twilight Sparkle was looking at the main ballroom, it was decorated immaculately. She glanced over and saw Princess Luna in her ceremonial dress and she was telling the guards where to stand.

Twilight rearranged the chairs again. Making sure they were organized precisely where they should be. She saw the doors open and Pinkie Pie bounced in, followed by Apple Jack and Rarity. Twilight waved them over to her.

“Darling this place looks absolutely divine.” Rarity beamed.

Apple Jack was last to join them because she was talking to Apple Bloom and Big Mac and telling them where she was going to be sitting. She walked to Twilight and her other friends. “Crispin being part of the ceremony makes me feel so proud.” She said.

“About as exciting as Sprinkle Icing being the maid of honor.” Pinkie giggled. “It’s almost as if she’s the one getting married.”

“Actually, AJ, I’m glad that your brother is here.” Twilight spoke up.

Apple Jack blinked. “Huh? Why’s that?”

“He needs to be a part of the ceremony.” Twilight stated. “Go get him we have a tuxedo to put him in.”

“Yer gonna have to explain this to me later Twi.” AJ muttered as she went over to her brother.

Big Mac looked at his sister after she talked to him. He shook his head, but Apple Bloom nudged him. He sighed and approached Twilight and the others. “Ya want me?”bigmacintosh

Twilight nodded. “Yes.” She waved to a guard. The guard approached. “Take Big Macintosh to the changing rooms. Follow the guard Mac. We need you to give the bride away. Rainbow Dash is way too emotional to do it.”

“Um, yeah but why me?” He asked.

“Silver Dash is requested you.” Twilight stated. “That is all I know.”

He gulped as he followed the guard.

“The celebration can start now, because I am here.” Discord said as he walked into Sugar Cube Corner with Fluttershy. Every pony looked at him and Lilly started to snicker at her father.

“Discord, your son hasn’t gotten here yet, you might as well sit down.” Twilight said sharply.

“Kind of grumpy today Twilight?” He asked as he walked over to the table with the cakes and sweets. Fluttershy walked over to her friends and sat in a chair next to Rainbow Dash and started to chat with her.

Rainbow Dash was biting on her lower lip as she sat in her chair. She looked at Fluttershy and gave a weak smile. “What if Silver says no?”

“Um, don’t worry about it Rainbow, everything will be okay.” Fluttershy said quietly to her friend. “Doxy is a good boy… Silver really does enjoy being around him.”

Discord strolled over to the empty seat next to Fluttershy as he carried a plate full of food and he set it in front of Fluttershy. “Little mommy needs to eat more food, growing babies need nibbles.” He cooed to her.dinnerdiscord

Rainbow Dash, Pinkie and Twilight all looked at Fluttershy. “You’re pregnant again?” They asked in unison.

Fluttershy squeaked and hid her face behind her mane and Discord grinned proudly. “Yes, she is.”

Apple Jack walked in followed by Rarity who was wearing another one of her elegant gowns.

Apple Jack saw her son Crispin sitting really close to Sprinkle Icing and she smiled. “Hey Crispin, I see you got yer chores finished. Well done.” She walked to where her friends were sitting. “Hey Twi, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Discord.” Twilight and Rainbow were still looking at Fluttershy but Pinkie waved at Apple Jack.

“Hey AJ!” Pinkie Pie giggled. “Guess what I saw.”

“Tell me.” Apple Jack said.

“Crispin and Sprinkle Icing kissed.” Pinkie blurted out. “And Fluttershy is pregnant again.”

Apple Jack blinked a couple times. “Whoa, Crispin actually kissed yer daughter? I’m more shocked than a barrel full of electric eels.” She looked over at Crispin; Sprinkle Icing was leaning against him with a smile on her face. “And what is this news about Fluttershy?” She said as she looked over to Discord and Fluttershy.

“Apparently Fluttershy is pregnant again.” Twilight answered as she saw Fluttershy get embarrassed again.

“Again?” Rarity said in shock as she approached them. “Oh dear, you think you can handle another foal at your age? Your own children are having children.”

Fluttershy looked at her friends. “I um… Well, I don’t know.” She squeaked again when Discord placed his paw on her shoulder.

“I don’t think it’s a matter of her age. I can keep an eye on her. She’s perfectly healthy and we have the best doctor in all of Equestria that watches over my whole family.” Discord interjected.

“True, your doctor is one of the best in Equestria.” Twilight nodded. “We just worry about you.”

“I’ll be alright.” Fluttershy replied.

Paradox and Silver Dash arrived at the Clover Café a little late. Rainbow Dash actually didn’t mind since she was sitting at a table with Apple Jack and her unicorn son Crispin. Silver and Dox approached the table.

“Sorry we’re late Mom.” Silver apologized as she sat down in the chair that Paradox held out for her.

“It’s okay.” Rainbow Dash shrugged. “I’m with good company.”

“My goodness.” Apple Jack spoke up. “You two have sprouted like weeds.” She looked at Paradox. “You are almost a spitting image of your father.”

Paradox smiled and rubbed the back of his neck. “I’m not as good with magic as dad though.”

Crispin’s ears went up. “I can do magic.”

Apple Jack looked at her son. “Not at the table.”

“Aww, Ma.” He sighed and was quiet again.

They talked a while and ordered their food. After dinner Paradox was trying to go through ways to ask Silver to marry him in his mind. He looked over at Crispin and leaned over. “Hey Crispin… can we talk?”

Crispin nodded. “Yep.”

Paradox got up from the table. “Crispin and I are going to get desserts.” He waited as Crispin got up and they both walked up to the bar of the cafe.

“What’s up?” Crispin asked.

“I need an idea on how to ask Silver to marry me.” He said.

Crispin blinked. “Just ask her?”

Paradox shook his head. “No, it has to be awesome and romantic.”

“Dox, you’re asking the wrong pony. All I want to do is hang out with Sprinkle Icing; she makes the most delicious cookies.” He smiled.

“You only like her for her cooking?” Paradox asked.

“Oh no, I love her, but she doesn’t love me back.”

He stared at Crispin. “Have you told her?”

Crispin looked back at his mother, Rainbow Dash and Silver. “Should I?”

Paradox shrugged. “It’s up to you. You won’t know if she loves you unless you tell her yourself.”

Crispin shuffled his hoof. “I’m not good with my words. I guess I’m almost like uncle Big Mac.”

Paradox turned and ordered desserts for every pony. “You’re talking to me.” He replied to Crispin.

“That’s different. You’re my friend.” Crispin smiled.

“So is Sprinkle Icing.” He smiled back at him. “Think about that. My mom and dad were friends before they got married.” He grabbed a couple bowls of desserts and Crispin used his magic to hover the other desserts back to the table.

“Sorry I couldn’t help you more.” Crispin said before they got to the table.

“It’s okay buddy.” Paradox grinned. “I’ll figure it out.”
